Blair Drummond Smiddy is a family run farm shop and cafe based in Blair Drummond, near Stirling. The business opened in October 2016. The award winning mixed retail format revolves around fresh, local and delicious food offered from our in-house cafe, butcher, deli and grocery.

**It is our mission to be the destination of choice for fresh and local food for our community and for visitors from further afield, in our bustling cafe, butchery and shop. We constantly seek to supply better products in order to improve our customers' experience. The Cafe Supervisor will lead each shift, working with their team and the kitchen, to ensure that every Smiddy customer receives excellent food and excellent service, every time they visit us in the Smiddy cafe, or in the Smiddy Express.

The Cafe Supervisor will report to the head of hospitality.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Customer

The Cafe Supervisor will lead on
- ensuring service standards are met on every shift
- setting an example to the team
- building a pleasant & clean environment for the cafe
- delivering excellent service to customers
- identifying and responding to cafe feedback
- working with the kitchen to ensure excellent service
- working with other departments to ensure excellent support

You will also be responsible for supporting with training, rotas, ordering and menu planning.

We are looking for a personable, proactive, passionate and productive individual who can identify problems and opportunities and implement suitable solutions.

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
