**The Role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PR and Events Executive with creative flair and a passion for agency life to join our team in Windsor.

You will be responsible for supporting accounts across our growing portfolio of clients spanning the hospitality, events, tech, education and property sectors. You will be a strong writer with excellent spelling and grammar with ability to translate our client’s key messages into engaging press releases, media alerts, advertorials, interviews and features.

As a PR & Events Executive, you will already have media contacts and strong relationships with publications in various sectors. Your finger will always be on the pulse of the ever-changing media landscape, making you the first to know about any changes within the industry, updates to outlets, journalists' movements and more.

**Responsibilities**
- Press material creation, including: Researching and drafting press releases, briefing notes, features, photo and video content. Implementing agreed PR plans and meeting deliverables by set deadlines.
- Media relations, including; communicating with wide range of media to place stories and features, developing relations and identifying new outlets as well as keeping media database up to date.
- Monitoring the media, including: newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for a range of clients.
- Promoting news stories and features to the media, pitching ideas, selling in content and encouraging opportunities for client coverage.
- Managing the organisation of press launches and events, from concept to execution.
- Working with the Head of PR & Events and our Managing Director on crisis communications.
- Client management: building and nurturing strong relationships with senior client contacts and developing relationships with journalists, freelancers, stakeholders etc.
- Researching target media/markets for range of new business prospects.
- Undertaking further specific duties as may be reasonably expected.

**Required Skills**:

- A degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in PR (in-house or agency).
- Contacts within the media across multiple sectors.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English.
- Keen eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, with senior level management and clients.
- Organised and adept at managing projects with a great client management record.
- Good references from both media and former clients.
- Highly organised and efficient with ‘can do’ proactive attitude
- Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting deadlines.
- Ability to handle a crisis communications situation.
- A true passion for marketing and communications.

**Desired Skills**
- Fluency in further languages is a bonus, preferably Arabic.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
