Carrington West are pleased to be working with a leading private planning consultancy based in Edinburgh, committed to delivering innovative solutions for our diverse range of clients. With a focus on commercial projects, they pride themselves on our expertise and dedication to shaping sustainable and vibrant communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage planning projects, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
- Stay updated on relevant planning legislation and policy changes.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous development of the planning team.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years of post-chartered experience in town planning.
- Proven experience in handling commercial projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policy frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
