At Masterclass, we have been tasked in recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a wonderful **SEN secondary school** in the Worthing area. They provide a happy and safe environment where the pupils can thrive in their education. They have an amazing outdoor area to expand the pupils learning as well as a forest and beach school.

The school are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who has the skills to develop into a valued member of staff for the individual needs of the students. You will be working with small groups of students in and out of formal lessons, with support from Teachers and other staff. You will be fully immersed into the life of the school and encouraged to be proactive in your role alongside your colleagues.

The schools staff have a true passion to ensure every child’s time at the school is exhilarating, Positive and a true learning experience. Every child has a skills based curriculum unique to them, this personalised learning builds on their individual skills and aids them to stay engaged whilst still enjoying their learning experience.

Prior experience with students with complex needs is preferred but not essential as support and training will be offered.

**Must**:

- You must be passionate, caring and resilient
- Show a positive can do attitude
- Be full of energy
- Be highly motivated and committed to providing children with additional support
- Offer outstanding classroom presence
- Show commitment to safeguarding
- Promote good behaviour in line with school policies
- Be proactive, determined and understanding to each child’s development
- Have a valid DBS on the updates service or be willing to obtain one

**How to Apply**:
