Working as part of the income collection team to provide a comprehensive income collection service to all customers of the Council, you will be required to deal with a caseload of housing rent accounts and take the appropriate action in accordance with the Council’s Income Collection Policies and Procedures.

This will include resolving customer issues to prevent debt, negotiating with customers on sustainable repayment plans and providing advice to maximise customer’s income. There is also a requirement to represent the Council at Court in Possession and other enforcement proceedings relating to debt.
