**The role**

As a council, we want to become the best we can be in delivering digital services to customers. We are looking to recruit someone with the skills to handle the day-to-day support of the council's website and intranet.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in public services and how we can deliver them digitally to our customers. Joining experienced colleagues on the Web Team, you'll work closely with colleagues from across the county council, focusing on supporting staff to update content and use a range of digital tools. You will also assist colleagues to research user behaviour and prototype improvements to our digital services.

**Key requirements**

We are looking for someone with excellent digital content skills and a broad knowledge of online tools. You'll need to understand how to investigate issues that website users are experiencing, create and edit content to a high standard, and be able to prioritise the requests that you receive.

You'll be part of a team but will need to be able to work individually to tight deadlines. Possessing strong interpersonal skills to manage the expectations of all stakeholders, you’ll be capable of contributing persuasively to discussions and communicating complex information regarding web technologies with varied audiences.
