**Scrum Master / Agile Coach**

**London / Hybrid - 1 or 2 days per month in the office**

**£65,000**

We are currently supporting a rapidly growing FinTech to bring an experienced and self-driven Scrum Master into the business to join their innovative and ambitious Engineering team. Having doubled in size in the last 6 months, the business is now lookingto hire it's first Scrum Master to lead across 3 squads, working closely with the Engineering Managers and CTO.

You'll organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, communicate with main stakeholders, oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables, monitor schedule and cost performance, identify and track key KPIs, and prepare and present reports on progressand success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Use agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
- Train, mentor, and support cross-functional Scrum teams to help them follow agile values, principles, and practices.
- Determine and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
- Schedule and facilitate scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
- Monitor progress and performance and help squads to make improvements to become more effective and self-organizing.
- Plan and organize demos and product/system testing.
- Ensure the proper use of collaborative processes and remove impediments, and coach the scrum teams on removing impediments
- Track project processes, deliverables, and financials.
- Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders.

**Your skills and experience**:

- The ability to work well cross-functionally and invirtual teams and confident in working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to balance conflicting business requirements to deliver value to the business.
- Always on the look-out for new frameworks and best practices that can further boost the effectiveness of Engineering teams
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner
- (CSPO)
- 3+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role.
- 1+ years of experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
- Excellent people and project management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
