**The Opportunity**

Finatal are currently partnering with a Private Equity backed Agricultural business which is scaling rapidly through both organic and acquisition activity. The business is currently turning over c.£38m with an EBITDA value towards c.£2m.

This is a great opportunity to develop a finance function capable of supporting an ambitious growth agenda which involves further expansion.

**The Role**

The Group Finance Director role will focus on building out the finance function, supporting the CFO with day-to-day oversight of the core finance function. The role will involve:

- Further develop a strong and stable finance team, making improvements and ensuring the function is operating to the highest possible standard.
- Professionalise the finance function; looking at automation, process improvement, strong controls and bringing finance to the forefront of the business.
- Comfortable working with Bank Debt and managing covenants.
- Being a true business partner to unit heads; working on analysis, ROI, budgeting and forecasting
- Support CFO with adhoc duties including M&A, strategic planning and integration work.
- Ownership of both the day-to-day finance as well as commercial and strategic finance
- Restructure, upskill and mentor existing team of 5

**The Requirements**

Given the business strategy of growth, this role demands an emotionally intelligent, people driven person with an eye on commercial exposure and strategy.
- ACA, CIMA, ACCA Qualified or equivalent with strong academics
- Background of agency/professional services highly advantageous
- Experience of a Private Equity backed business
- Ambitious, hardworking and problem-solving mentality
- Retail experience
- Prior experience in a leveraged Private Equity backed business environment
- Financial Modelling skills
