Business Administration Apprentice

**Summary**:
Working as an apprentice within the planning department to provide first class service to the organisation.
This is a development role within the Planning department, with a view of future progression in the department.
**Essential Functions**:
- Raising outwork Purchase Orders and adding operations in SAP for rework, or deviations as required to ensure flow of material in operations for subcontractor out work. Will generate purchase orders for external and intra company outwork. GRN of outwork purchase orders.
- Responsible for transportation of sub-contractor outwork and shipments to ensure production schedules are met. Maintaining transportation registers and control of invoicing and GRN’s for all transportation requests.
- Stocking of Mother cards and issuing child cards to ensure production requirements are met.
- Responsible for scrap and swarf management on site. Arranging swarf processing slots with sub-contractors and transportation to ensure pre booked slots are met.
- Responsible for documentation retention of all material to ensure all company protocols are met.
- Support in Documentation of material.
**Knowledge/Qualification/Education**:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs required (equivalent to C or above) to include English & Mathematics
**Experience**:
- Training will be provided in all key aspects of the role
- Work or voluntary experience preferable
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are essential
**Technical Competencies**:
- Demonstrable computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access
