**Early Years Educator Wanted at Hopscotch Nursery in Brighton & Hove**

Hours: Full time or part time hours available

**Salary**: £24,000 - £26,800

Holiday: 31 days

**About Us**: Join our friendly team at Hopscotch, located in the heart of Sussex. We focus on providing a warm, inclusive, and enriching environment for children aged 0-5. Currently, we’re seeking a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner to be a key player in our dedicated team.

**Position Overview**: As an Early Years Educator your role involves planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning and development. You’ll work collaboratively with our team to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for both children and colleagues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children’s development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Record and monitor children’s progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
