Our client is looking for an Air Export Clerk

Main duties:
Quoting

Dealing directly with shippers and overseas agents

Export Customs Entries

Invoicing

Completing varied exports jobs from start to finish

Occasionally arranging road freight shipments, entries, T1 declarations.

Boxtop or Sequioa experience would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given

Be part of Export on call rota - 1 week in 8, which would include weekend coverage (remotely - from 6pm Friday - 9am the following Friday)

Hours would be 9-6 Monday to Friday

Person specification (inc. technical/professional requirements)

Required qualifications:
Level CO AvSec trained desirable but not essential as training can be provided

Required experience:
Pharma knowledge and experience preferred

Min 2 years air export experience

Boxtop or Sequioa experience would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given

Personal skills:
Good communication

Well-organised - Able to prioritise workloads and work under pressure

Good commercial awareness

Salary up to GBP38,000 depending on experience
