We have an exciting opportunity to join the Telecare Team at Lifeline within BCP Council.

As an Installer you will be the first person our new clients see when they request the telecare service from the council. Demonstrating our equipment in their own home you will be an ambassador for the service assisting our clients to access technology to enable them to remain independent at home. You will install the system and explain how it is used, often providing additional pieces of equipment tailored to the clients need.

Following installation you may be required to attend to faults or undertake visits to ensure the effective use of the equipment and service, as well as attending to clients who may have fallen but are not injured. Following risk assessment you may use lifting equipment to raise the client from the floor or call for the emergency services if needed.

If you are keen to support vulnerable people, have good communication skills and empathy, a strong commitment to customer care and a caring attitude** **we would like to hear from you. Shifts will average an eight hour period on a rota covering the hours of 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday. You will be required to be part of a standby response rota one weekend in six for which an additional payment is made.

The team is committed to providing excellent customer service and we work closely with our professional colleagues to ensure the service’s provided meet all of our client’s needs.

You will be working as part of a small team delivering a wide range of telecare services around the local areas.

You must have a flexible approach to daily routine with the ability to carry out a range of different aspects to the role.
