Working as part of a team at a leading meat wholesaler working Monday to Friday plus 5 hours every other Saturday giving an average working week of 42.5 hours (40 Hours/45 Hours)

The role can be demanding and needs someone who is able to manage their time well, endeavouring to improve productivity wherever possible whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy in their work.

The successful applicant will be able to speak English to a level that enables them to do the job effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Packer/Processor will be responsible for the weighing and labelling of all products going out to our customers, and ensuring all information is correct to meet customer requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- To safely move product from area to area
- To ensure all products are weighed and labelled in compliance to specification
- To be aware of changes in production orders in order to adapt to changing customers’ requirements
- Use of a number of different machines
- Undertake any other tasks as directed by your Team Leader

**Key Skills/Attributes**
- It is essential that you have a basic level of literacy and numeracy and an effective level of communication.
- Knowledge of production processes, previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and a NVQ Level 2 in Food Manufacturing is desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
