**Job Title**: Senior Care Worker **Location**:Blackheath, London, SE3 0PW. **Salary**: £12.95 per hour Cullum Welch Court is part of Morden College a Charity dedicated to supporting older people. The home combines residential living with 24-hour expert care and support for individuals with complex health conditions, dementia, or palliative care needs. Our home has a high staff to resident ratio with a versatile team built around the residents' needs. As well as providing nursing care, we provide regular and stimulating activities. We are a strong community, committed to enabling those we support to havethe highest quality of life, for the rest of their lives. Our residents have access to an extensive range of Morden College facilities, living in a beautiful environment with the opportunities to develop lasting friendships. Our care services were graded Goodin all 5 CQC inspection area ratings and we have been granted Hospitality Assured status. **The role**: You will feel like part of the Morden College family when you join us as a Senior Care Worker at Cullum Welch Court. As a Senior you will be a visible leader, coordinating and organising daily duties, leading your shift to ensure that care is responsiveto the needs of each resident. You will administer medication and provide person centred care and support to our residents with compassion and empathy. You will assist with the delivery of a programme of activity that is tailored and meaningful that focuseson maximising wellbeing, independence, and social engagement. **Responsibilities may include but not be limited to the following**: - To provide residents with a "good life" by promoting dignity, independence, choice and fulfilment within a policy of managed risk taking. - To provide residents with comfort, security, and a sense of belonging, making a difference to their daily lives. - To provide shift leadership to your household team of Care Workers on each shift, co-ordinating duties. - To provide outstanding, person centred care to residents by assessing, monitoring, and evaluating individual resident's needs. - Be a visible leader, creating a culture that promotes the inclusion of people living with dementia in all social and occupational activities designed to enhance, stimulate, develop, and maintain the highest quality of life and enjoyment. - We are looking for someone to bring commitment, kindness, integrity, passion, and enthusiasm to the role that people using our service deserve. - You will be yourself, have a sense of fun and take ownership of all aspects of your role, whilst being a positive role model for others and an ambassador for Morden College. - You will be dedicated to making a positive difference to people's lives. **Benefits**: We will provide you with a generous pension, full time 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays (part-time pro-rata), subsidised meals, free uniform, and free onsite parking.
