**Mule Developer** **UK based** **Permanent Full Time position** Our client, A market leader in the provision of Integrated Stores and Supply Chain Management Solutions for Blue Chip Companies in the UK, Europe and USA. Due to the incredible growth they are experiencing, we are now looking for a Mule Developer to join their growing team in UK. The Mule Developer plays a critical role in the development, support, and maintenance of the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) systems. The Mule Developer will work closely with Customer IT and business personnel along the client's IT and business personnel in designing and developing B2B integrations with the client's trading partners. **Key Deliverables**: - Task breakdowns and estimates of work - Complete assigned tasks as part of software development scrums - Keep line manager and team members updated on your progress on assigned tasks and any blockers you need their help to resolve - Reviews own and others' work to ensure deliverables meet design and code quality standards at the end of each sprint - Participate in meetings with trading partners - Participate in designing and developing B2B solutions with trading partners - Review designs with architect and team leads - Collaborate with peers to agree and improve standards of software quality across the team - Mentor colleagues in intermediate use of Mule ESB environment - To carry out any other work task/ duty as requested by a manager in line with the role - Learn the client's business model, our systems and processes, the departments and culture of the client **Useful Experience**: - 3+ years Enterprise Solution development experience utilizing Mule ESB framework - Experience/exposure to working in Mule ESB environment (version 3.7 and above) or similar tools, including data mapping, debugging, flow analysis and configuration - Experienced troubleshooting Mule ESB, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools. - Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure; knowledge of MuleSoft Cloud hub is a "nice-to-have". - Experience with development & deployment tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Nexus etc. - Experience with MuleSoft MMC/ARM and Enterprise release capabilities - Demonstrated experience implementing Mule ESB architecture, rules, caching etc. - Solid programming skills using J2EE, Design Patterns, JMS, SOAP / REST Web Services, XSLT, CXF, Spring Framework, etc. - Working knowledge in Version Control Systems like Tortoise SVN and related configurations - Experience with all phases of project life cycle and knowledge of process management - Preferred experience working with logging management software and related configuration - Preferred experience with product release management processes, including familiarity with Nexus and Jenkins etc.
