**About the store**

Specsavers in Lancaster first opened its doors as an optical business 30 years ago before relocating to their current location 15 years ago. The store sits in a prominent position on the main high street close to Costa and a small shopping arcade which is pedestrianised, and is firmly embedded within the local community. The loyal and growing customer base includes members of the large local retirement community, many shoppers from the nearby arcade shopping mall in addition to significant passing trade from all walks of life. The store services a large geographical area with patients travelling from Garstang and other areas outside of the city centre due to its excellent transport links

You would be joining Martin Jeffery and Michael Jackson, Retail and Optometry Directors, who have been with the business for 15 years. They are really looking forward to gaining an Audiology Partner to help them drive the business forward so that it offers holistic care to customers who want access to both sight and hear care services in their community. The current Audiology Partner has built the business up to be very successful and there is a ready-made database here with plenty of opportunity for the right person. Our current Audiology Director is staying with Specsavers and relocating closer to home.

A team of 42 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home, of which 5 are part of a growing Audiology team. The existing Partners are really passionate about the clinical development of the team, and as the new Audiology Director you would have the

scope to advise on training requirements, introduce new specialisms and build/shape the team further as required.

**Requirements of the role**

Alongside being a qualified and HCPC registered Audiologist, you’ll need to share the store’s ethos. They’re looking for someone who wants to grow and develop the team, offer exceptional customer care and improve patient outcomes. You’ll be a practitioner who prides themself on their clinical judgment, isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach, and someone who is keen to get involved and build a rapport with their team. In summary, you’ll be a highly skilled Audiology professional willing and able to help drive the practice forward.
