**We have an exciting opportunity at Rapiscan for a Cleaner based in Redhill**

**Purpose of Role**

Rapiscan Systems seeks a production room cleaner you will be responsible for the day to day cleaning operation of the chemistry lab, clean room, assembly area and shop floor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Thorough cleaning of the clean room as per clean room protocols. Regularly clean other area of production as assigned by duty manager on weekly basis.
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents and other production equipment)
- The work will largely be carried out in a carefully controlled environment to avoid particulate contamination and to ensure the highest possible standards of cleanliness.
- The role will primarily involve in cleaning and will also support detailed component cleaning but will also include leak checking of parts and general assembly work such as component cleaning and preparation.
- The production cleaner will also support and assist with the day-to-day operation/maintenance of the chemistry lab.

**Experience**:

- Experience of working as a cleaner in a clean room, chemistry lab, assembly, manufacturing or factory preferable.
- Prior experience of component assembly processes environment would also be useful.
- Able to integrate well into an established team supporting and assisting colleagues.
- Experience in handling chemical, lower-level testing and assembly.
- Proven working experience as a Cleaner.
