**Job Summary**
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a care home or home care setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to implement care plans and promote a positive living environment.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
- Drive to various locations if required for home care visits.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for residents.
**Skills**
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents and team members.
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately.
- Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Capability to drive is preferred for roles involving home visits.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 45 per week
