**Job Purpose**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Day-to-day responsibility for the uniform shop and reception
- Provide respectful and courteous service to all visitors
- Advise parents on school dress regulations and assist them with purchases
- Ensure stock is professionally displayed and introduce creative ideas to enhance sales. Maximise space and sales through professional merchandising
- General housekeeping of all shop areas
- Maintain stock levels, carry out annual stock take to coincide with the end of financial year and liaise with auditors annually to ensure stock accuracy
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, including regular reviews of costs and services. Source new suppliers and liaise with school over designs
- Liaise with Department Heads to ensure staff members are provided with appropriate uniform
- Manage the booking system for uniform fitting appointments for students and manage the flow of customers during busy periods
- Responsible for checking orders and approving invoices, working closely with accounts to ensure any discrepancies are dealt with
- Balance tills daily and ensure banking is accurate
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure successful marketing and promotion of the facility and that online sales are maximised and the school shop website is kept up to date.
- Willing to undertake training when required, e.g. shoe fitting
- Covering reception when needed
- Occasional weekend and evening working
