**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Design and decorate cakes according to customer orders and specifications.
- Prepare cake batters, frostings, and fillings from scratch, ensuring high standards of food production.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Manage inventory of baking supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Stay updated on current trends in cake decorating techniques and flavours.
- Assist in the preparation of other baked goods as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cake Decorator or in a similar culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in various cake decorating techniques, including fondant work, piping, and airbrushing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and artistic flair.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Previous experience in food preparation or production within a restaurant or bakery setting is advantageous.
