Fairfield General Hospital is recruiting to a new and developing In-Patient Discharge Unit
We are looking for motivated, proactive Registered Nurses, Healthcare Support Workers, a Personal Assistant and a Ward Clerk to provide outstanding patient care to enable safe and timely discharges.
We want to create and develop a passionate team with a forward-thinking and home first mindset. You will work to promote the independence of patients, assist them to improve their functional ability,andallow themto live independently in the community or a place that meets their individual needs.
As part of our team, you will use initiative to support the development and effectiveness of the Discharge Unit. You will enhance patient lives by working collaboratively with the inpatient multi-disciplinary team, community and voluntary services.
Your role will involve clerical duties to enable the unit to run smoothly. General duties will include filing, handling medical notes, answering the telephone and greeting patients and relatives.
You will possess a good standard of education and have experience of working within a busy customer focussed environment.
