We are looking for an experienced Portable Appliance Testers (PAT) to join our team of electrical testing operatives.

You will perform electrical testing and inspection of portable appliances at a range of client premises, making sure that they are safe for use. Your natural focus on providing excellent customer service will give you the ability to liaise with customers and their staff at all levels. As a Portable Appliance Tester, you will:

- Carry out visual inspections of appliances.
- Carry out electrical testing to ensure that each item is safe to use.
- Carry out fuse changes, plug replacements and re-terminations where necessary.
- Complete microwave Emission testing
- Complete and submit data as agreed.
- Manage appliance testing in accordance with the Code of Practice, 5th edition.
- Must be prepared to travel, working away may be required at times with this role, some out of hours which would be nights and the occasional weekend.

To succeed in this role, you will need**:Qualified in City & Guilds 2377**
- Basic electrical knowledge an advantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional approach
- Current Driving Licence

**NO AGENCIES**
- 45 hrs a week.

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
