**Driver Hire Bournemouth is offering a fantastic temporary position in Christchurch for a professional and experienced HGV driver.**

You will be making deliveries in an HGV curtain-sider. Pallets are already loaded for you and usually unloaded by the customer at the delivery site. You may have to unload using a pallet truck. The typical amount of drops per round is 6-7 for day shifts and night shifts are a single drop at a pallet hub in the midlands.

**Position**: HGV Driver (Class 1 or 2)

**Days**:Monday - Friday (flexible)

**Start time**: 07:00 AM (Night trunk shifts are also available, 18:00 start)

**Start date**: ASAP

**Location**:Christchurch

**HGV Driver Hourly Pay Rate**:

- £13.50-14.50 (basic) - £15.50-£16.75 (night)
- £20 weekends
- £25 night-out allowance (for tramping work)
- PAYE weekly
- Holiday pay accrued

**As an HGV Driver you will be**:

- driving a Class 1 or 2 HGV vehicle
- delivering pallets manually (day shift) or having pallets loaded/unloaded for you (night shift)
- strong customer service skills
- planned routes and a loaded vehicle

**The successful HGV Driver MUST have**:

- a valid UK Class 1 or 2 HGV driving licence
- a valid CPC and digital-tachograph card
- no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)
- their own transport to travel to work
- a minimum of 6 months recent commercial experience
