GTC are part of a family of companies owned by BUUK Infrastructure group and we are currently recruiting for a **Multi Utility Assistant** to safely assist installing Gas / Water / Electric / Fibre Mains and/or Service to relevant standards. This full time, permanent position is best suited to someone who can cover the following locations: Southwest region, postal codes RG, OX, SP, GL and SN.

**Day to day activities will include -**
- Assist installing and commissioning water, gas, electric and fibre mains and/or services as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions
- Accept delivery of plant and materials and check fitness for purpose prior to use
- Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition, and report any defects to the Support Team
- Sign on to and understand site specific risk assessments on and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
- Identify and report any safety concerns, changes to design in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure, non-conformances and site materials to the Multi Utility Project Manager
- Assist in recording accurate details of work undertaken
- Submit relevant work details for recording and invoicing in the required timescale

**Due to the nature of the role, we would expect the successful applicant to have the following qualifications (or equivalent) -**
- NC01 Water Assistant
- NC01 Gas Assistant
- DNO/IDNO LV Authorisation for Jointers Mates
- SHEA Water, Gas and Power
- National Water Hygiene

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
