Are you driven, ambitious and wanting to make a difference? We are looking to recruit a full time highly motivated, friendly, and supportive Assessing Recruitment Officer to join our busy and growing Recruitment Team based in Rustington.

You will support the activities associated with the promotion and recruitment of Fostering, to care for children looked after within the Compass Community.

**On a day-to-day basis, you will be**:

- To be knowledgeable on all Recruitment KPI’s and deliver on these weekly and monthly.
- To ensure the quality of reports and assessments at Initial Visit stage are maintained and meet Compass standards and expectations
- To report directly to the Foster Carer Recruitment and Integration Manager or Recruitment Supervisor in their absence.
- To perform tasks as directed by the Recruitment Manager.
- To give the best customer service to each applicant.
- To support the Recruitment Manager, Recruitment Supervisor, Panel & Assessments Team and Recruitment Regional teams with all aspects of the Recruitment of Foster Carers.
- Attendance and active contribution at meetings as required.
- To be knowledgeable on regional information which impacts on the service you provide.
- Identify and match assessors with needs of the applicants in order to provide the best service to applicants and robust assessments for the Panel and Assessment team
- Responsible for recording progress of applicants via the ‘Assessment ADP Tracker’
- Caseload management to ensure social workers have appropriate number of assessments. This is reviewed daily.
- To report performance against KPI’s/targets to the relevant persons associated.
- To respond to all applicants within KPI timeframes and undertake revisits where applicable, proceed them to the next stage in the recruitment process.

**Experience and Abilities**
- Great Interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Sales experience or experience of working in a customer service environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of excel, PowerPoint, and use of databases and recording information.
- Good organisational, analytical, and logístical skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and work within tight deadlines.
- The ability to manage their own time and caseload on a day-to-day basis.
- The ability to be a team player with an interest in children’s services, carers and the marketing that surrounds this
