**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while promoting our products and services. Your ability to engage with customers and understand their needs will be crucial in ensuring a positive customer experience.

The job requirements are as follows:

- serving customers, restocking shelves, quality stock checks, general cleaning duties of the store, working delivery loads, opening and closing the store.

Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Working hours will range between 6.30am til 9.30pm Monday to Sunday. After training we work a fixed shift pattern, including one weekend day - however some holiday cover flexibility is required throughout the year.

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the EPOS system, accurately processing National Lottery and PayPoint terminals.
- Maintain an organised and tidy sales area, ensuring that displays are appealing and stocked.
- Handle customer complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues swiftly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall store performance.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide the best service possible.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
- Initiative to be a self-starter and work alone is essential.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 18 per week
