**About the Role - Bodyshop Advisor / Receptionist**
We’re looking for a confident and professional **Bodyshop Advisor / Receptionist** to join our award-winning bodyshop team at **Drive Motor Retail Bury St Edmunds**.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a seamless and friendly experience throughout their repair journey. Working alongside an experienced management and technical team, you’ll ensure all administrative, estimating, and communication processes run smoothly and efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Welcoming customers in person and over the phone, ensuring a professional and friendly experience
- Booking in repair work and managing updates throughout the repair process
- Preparing estimates, invoices, and insurance-related documentation where required
- Providing clear and timely communication to customers on repair progress and completion times
- Supporting the bodyshop team with administrative and coordination duties
- Maintaining accurate job records and ensuring excellent attention to detail across all processes
**What We’re Looking For**
We’re seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering outstanding service.
- Previous experience as a **Bodyshop Advisor**, **Service Advisor**, or in a customer service or administrative role (automotive experience preferred)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
- Confidence in handling customer interactions both face-to-face and over the phone
- Strong IT literacy and familiarity with bodyshop or dealership systems (training provided if required)
- A positive attitude, professional manner, and commitment to maintaining high standards
