**Nursery Lunch cover**

**20 hours per week (10.30am-2.30pm Monday - Friday)**

**Salary £10.00 - £12.21 per Hour**

Woodberry Waterlooville is located on London Road, on the outskirts of the town centre. With **excellent transport links** and **free staff parking**, it's the perfect location for commuters It is a new, purpose-built day nursery with spacious gardens with many fantastic local amenities within walking distance. Each room has its own access to the garden allowing the children to free flow in their play. We have a dedicated senior team who support the nursery management in striving for delivering excellence by enriching home from home environments with an expertly trained team.

**Main responsibilities as Nursery Lunch Time Assistant include**:

- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
- Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures

**Requirements and Skills for Nursery Lunch Time Assistant**:

- Full and Relevant Level 2/ 3 Childcare Qualification - desirable
- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
- Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
