- Location: Penrith, with the opportunity to work from Carlisle
Contract Type: Permanent
**About this opportunity**
- Reporting to the Asset Lead and Technical Advisors, this role will be to develop, support, maintain and update all the various highway GIS and asset data systems. The role will require you to participate in site investigations in accordance with the Westmorland and Furness Skid Resistance Strategy and assist in the preparation of priority treatment schemes lists for use in the development of the Highways Capital Programme. You will be responsible for the collation of information/data for inclusion in the AIA ALARM survey, the NHT PMF Performance indicator and CQC benchmarking for improvement surveys.

- We are looking for someone who can adapt well to the demands of the service, enjoys working as part of a team and is willing to undertake tasks commensurate with the team as a whole. The ability to travel throughout Westmorland and Furness and surrounding areas is essential.
