**Duties**:

- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets customer expectations
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with nursery staff to ensure smooth operations and to manage dietary requirements.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred and a passion for food, nutrition, child development, and working in an environment with young children is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

We work with young children, so this role requires an Enhanced DBS check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,110.00-£21,840.00 per year
