**Solution Architect - Data Platform and AWS Cloud**
**London - Hybrid (2 days in office a week)**
**Up to £95K salary**
Opportunity for experienced solution architects to lead multiple products relating to the design and implementation of cloud solutions whilst proactively engaging with internal stakeholders.
**Some key responsibilities of the role include**
- Provide guidance on most aspects of cloud infrastructure offerings as well as lead, deliver and support cloud solutions based on defined standards for the engineering team.
**Here are the skills our client is looking for**
- Experience in using large scale production systems and technologies, for example data architecture, management and strategy, Legacy to Cloud migration, Tech effort estimation, load balancing, monitoring, distributed systems, and configuration management
- AWS Solution Architecture or GCP Architecture certification
- Experience in Agile Product Development and Agile Principles
- Spark, Python, Big Data/HBase/Hadoop, S3
- Designing and executing small to medium scale systems Cloud migration with strong autonomy.
- Experience in leading and integrating test automation into various points in a deployment pipeline and prior programming background in at least one or more languages: Java, Python and scripting experience in Shell
- Experience in implementing CI/CD
**To stand out you will**
- Be familiar with and enthusiastic for software engineering best practices such as testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
