We have a vacancy for a Technical Support Officer, in the Data Services department of the Technical Services team.

**As a member of the Data Services department you will need to**:

- Have experience with a first-line technical support environment, able to triage technical issues and either resolve them or escalate as appropriate within the team, both in-person and via remote tools
- Possess good knowledge of data, information systems and infrastructure grounded in professional training or experience - specifically Microsoft 365 and MS Teams
- Have experience with administrative roles - management of documentation, diaries, minute-taking, prioritisation of actions, booking meetings and travel as appropriate
- Understand, or have an interest in learning about, technical project and programme management within the NHS
- Be self-motivated, organized, technically switched-on and a logical and innovative thinker
- Support the wider NOE CPC team our supplier base and member organisations in improving their understanding of their data and their journey to data maturity

NOECPC’s technical platform is built on the Microsoft cloud platform and we are looking for an engaged, technically-skilled first-line support officer to join a team of four in both maintaining the organization’s systems, and developing them to face new challenges.

**Main responsibilities can be divided into three key areas**:

- Supporting end users and providing first-line contact for staff experiencing issues around IT, systems or technical matters - communicating clearly and in an accessible way with staff who have a broad range of technical skill, and determining what is appropriate to escalate to second-line or third-line support. Managing and updating the support portal and keeping track of support tickets.
- In support of the Systems and Process Analyst and the Database Specialist, providing systems and database administration support, covering off Microsoft 365 tenant management, Azure and Azure Data Factory management, and administration of Power Platform/Dynamics 365;
- Supporting the team on data management for key business systems and supporting the broader Technical Services department with administration and project support

A high level of engagement with Microsoft products, especially Microsoft 365 Tenant Management, Microsoft Intune/Endpoint, Azure/ADF and Dynamics 365/Power Platform, is highly desirable.

The Data Services Team consists of a system and process analyst, a database specialist and a technical support officer, line managed by the Data Services Manager.
