We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individuals to help make lunchtimes a great experience for our pupils. If you enjoy working with children and have a passion for great customer service, this could be the perfect role for you
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Helping prepare and serve nutritious school meals
- Setting up and clearing the dining area
- Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
- Supporting the cook with food prep and cooking
- Following hygiene and safety procedures
- Completing kitchen paperwork (e.g. cleaning schedules, temperature logs)
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring attitude and a team spirit
- Good communication skills - especially with children
- Basic literacy and numeracy
- Awareness of food hygiene, allergens, and safeguarding
- Willingness to complete training (e.g. Manual Handling, Food Hygiene)
This is a physically active role in a busy school kitchen, so you’ll need to be comfortable with standing, lifting, and working at pace. Flexibility is appreciated, especially during school events.
