Next Step Training Ltd is currently looking for an experienced Adult Care Trainer & Assessor to our Adult Care delivery team based in Hackney, London.

We are looking for an experienced Health Care professional (HCA with supervisory experience for e.g.) who enjoys training and instructing and enjoys passing their knowledge onto the next generation.

This vacancy is open to both qualified and unqualified assessors.

**Essential requirements for the role**:

- A minimum 3 years supervisory experience in an Health Care setting
- Full Training and qualifications (TAQA) are funded and provided by the employer
- Evidence of having achieved NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Knowledge of social policy & relevant legislation, in relation to Adult social and health care improvements and of eligibility criteria for services
- Knowledge of social and health care needs of vulnerable adults with learning disabilities
- Demonstrable willingness to participate in training and staff development relevant to the role and to take advantage of learning
- The legal right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving license, use of a vehicle and not averse to extensive travel as you will be expected to cover the whole business.
- A genuine passion for supporting learners and understand the importance of delivering the Health and Social Care programmes that meets CQC requirements and expectations.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Delivering Care Worker Training (Mandatory requirements, Induction and CPD)
- Assessing Trainee learning
- Maintaining complete and accurate records
- Undertaking continuous training and development to ensure knowledge is up to date
- Achieving and meeting targets for training
- Teaching & Education qualifcation i.e. Level 3 AET, PTTLS, CTLLS
- A working background in care
- Experience maintaining effective recording systems
- Basic Life Support TTT (Adults and Paediatrics)
- Moving & Handling Train the Trainer
- The Health and Social Care Trainer role would ideally suit an existing experienced trainer, ideally from a health and social care background, but this is not essential.

**Job Types**: Apprenticeship, Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
