If this sounds like you then please read on This is an office-based role with hybrid working options where you will report directly to the Head of IT. Core duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: - Proactive monitoring and enhancement of the IT compliance framework - Aligning local (UK) polices with the corporate standards laid out by Central IT in mainland Europe - Identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions. Proactively challenging the status quo in order to promote best practice frameworks and articulating the benefits to the organisation - Delivery of projects to agreed deadlines - Implementation and maintenance of best practice IT security (i.e., ISO27001 / Cyber essentials / NIST) - Upkeep / maintenance of documentation related to the IT compliance / IT security framework - GDPR compliance - Ownership of the ISO27001 framework, including continual improvements, implementation of change, monitoring / internal audits against the standard, adjusting to new requirements and ownership of the company’s efforts towards finally obtaining ISO27001 accreditation. - Security patch compliance governance for the UK’s IT hardware estate - Acting as custodian for the Configuration Management Database of IT assets. - Hardware procurement, capex and PO composition. - Acting as a custodian for IT equipment standards and governance for EOL hardware - To be a "customer-facing" representative of the IT team across the business internally, ensuring that the business maintains the very highest standards of IT compliance. - Ownership of the employee Joiners Movers Leavers process. - Experience of IT systems security configuration. - An understanding of corporate governance including software patching and security vulnerability assessments etc - Knowledge of GDPR compliance - Demonstrable experience of information security frameworks including ISO27001 and NIST or Cyber Essentials. - Knowledge of Microsoft audit tools such as Microsoft SCCM or Intune would be an advantage but is not essential. - CISMP, SSCP or other similar qualification in Information Security
