**Title: HGV Driver / HGV Driver**

The Best Connection are recruiting a Temp to Perm Class 2 HGV/LGV Moffatt Driver for our client based in Motherwell. Role is a Monday to Friday dayshift position but may be asked to work a Saturday now and again.

Our client is willing to put the right person through the full training if you only hold an In-House certificate

**Duties will include**:

- Completing vehicle checks and defect sheets.
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Loading/checking and securing the loads before leaving site
- Temp to Perm contract - Class 2HGV/LGV Moffatt Driver
- deliveries to building sites
- 40 hours per week minimum

**Requirements**:

- Someone who is professional in appearance and manner
- Good communication/ customer service skills
- Previous Class 2HGV/LGV Moffatt would be an advantage
- Has a valid full HGV2 / Class 2 and Moffat licence although training can be provided
- Full valid CPC and DIGI card
- No more than 6 penalty points with no major endorsements
- A sound understanding of driver's hours legislation and RT(WT)

**In Return**:

- Competitive pay rates - paid weekly
- Temp to Perm contract - Perm after 12 weeks
- £14ph first 8 hrs - £21ph after 8hrs
- £21ph Saturday
- Uniform after qualifying period
