This Development Underwriter role is focused on driving growth of the mid-market book for this progressive MGA, focusing on the South East area, this role provides senior underwriting authority to deploy and the backing of an A+ rated market.

**As Development Underwriter, you will**:

- Manage and develop a panel of up to 25 Brokers, with a remit to increase market share within property, liability and commercial combined
- Focus on new business, identifying and capitalising on opportunities through your knowledge, experience, skills and connections
- Hold a senior position in the team; this role has been created due to increase of business and holds senior underwriting authority and interfaces with management and internal stakeholders
- Be given the freedom and responsibility to work to your own plan - this is a home based role where you'll be encouraged to spend your time in front of brokers, with the full support of the regional office to lean on
- Enjoy working for a firm that values its team, offering strong benefits and all the support and development you could ask for

**You**:

- A Trading or Development Underwriter with the skill and ambition to succeed in a new business role - you'll enjoy the challenge and the satisfaction of securing the larger cases

- You'll be based in the South East and open to travelling across Buckinghamshire, Sussex, Kent, Oxfordshire etc
