Are you looking for a new role in the Richmond area? Our beautifully famous surgery, The Vet on Richmond Hill, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist/ Veterinary Care Assistant to join their elite and independent, owned by vets, West London Team.
This is a one of a kind opportunity for a proactive and highly detail orientated Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary Care Assistant, who really cares about patients, clients and offering the very highest levels of customer service.
The position suits a Veterinary Receptionist or VCA who takes pride in delivering the ultimate client experience with a network of excellent Vets, Nurses, and Support teams to hand. You should be confident handling and restraining animals.
This is a Full-Time position, working 5 days per week with a share of 1:3 Saturdays, and a share of bank holidays.
To be considered you should be an Experienced Receptionist or VCA with a background ideally in Veterinary or someone with lots of Administration experience in a customer facing role - and you definitely need to love animals

- Our beautiful surgery is located in Richmond, surrounded by lovely coffee shops and just a short walk from Richmond park. We are ideally located with plenty of transport links (both bus and train) nearby.
We are part of an independent group of surgeries in Kent, Sussex, Surrey and London.
Your average day at The Vet on Richmond Hill could include:
- Answering the phone and booking appointments in a friendly, efficient and caring manner
- Helping direct clients to the clinic
- Ensuring Facebook messages are responded to
- Scanning documents to patients files
- Taking payment at time of treatment
- Advising clients of our Healthcare plan
- Processing / logging Insurance Claims
- Administration of our 0% finance for those in need of help with cost
- Handling and restraining patients
- General cleaning including before and after surgeries, kennels etc
- Job duties as given by the nursing manager
