**Job description**

Lifestyle Care is a new company, which is part of the Malhotra Group; a family run business based in the North East of England. We are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant at Morpeth.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Supporting Residents with social and physical activities and mobility.
- Helping with personal care such as showering and dressing.
- Assisting people with eating and drinking.
- Work as part of a team to provide high quality care.
- Ensure the Residents retain their dignity and individuality.
- Observe care planning needs for Residents.
- Assist in the framework of the Residents’ social activities.
- Supporting Residents with a range of health conditions including physical disabilities, dementia, and other mental health conditions.

**What we are looking for**:

- Genuine interest in working in the care environment.
- Great communication skills both written and verbal.
- Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.
- Organisational skills.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- The ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
- Someone to live by our values of dignity, compassion, caring, accountability, and inclusion.
- Satisfactory DBS check and check against the DBS Barring list.
