Portside Solutions are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team and work on behalf of our well established client.

Workshop, Servicing ,Repairing and Maintaining HGV Vehicles, Vans, Trucks and Electric vehicles.

Previous industry experience and qualifications in HGV maintenance and repairs is required.

**Responsibility's**
- Proficiency in using Diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high quality work.
- Routine Maintenance Servicing and Inspections.
- Servicing, Repairs, and Maintenance to Vans, Trucks and Electric cars and Vans
- Overtime available
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components
- Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Test driver fully repaired vehicles to make sure they have no issues.

As a HGV mechanic, it will be your duty to maintain and repair vehicles and equipment. A strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, as well as the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues. It is essential to use your strong problem solving skills in ensuring that all repairs are completed accurately.

- **Qualifications**:

- HGV Technician qualification.
- Proven experience as a mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- **A valid HGV driver's license will be required for this position.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
