King’s College Hospital is offering an exciting opportunity to appoint a Clinical Research Fellow across the departments of Medical Oncology and Institute of Liver Studies.

The Appointee will act as the Clinical Fellow for a unique award funded by Innovate UK Biomedical Catalyst investigating the use of phosphoproteomics to predict response to systemic therapies for advanced hepatocellular cancer

**The clinical research fellow will work on the following**:

- identification and recruitment of patients undergoing 1stline systemic therapy for advanced HCC
- acquisition, analysis and correlation of detailed clinical data for these patients
- phosphoproteomic analysis (including sample preparation and data analysis) of tumour specimens
- comparison of tumour and PBMC phosphoproteomic signatures to determine relative predictive accuracy

The appointee will work closely with the laboratory of Professor Pedro Cutillas at Barts Cancer Institute
