**Principal Sustainability Officer**

Full Time (permanent contract)

Hybrid working - 2 days in the office

**We need someone with**:

- Experience of monitoring and reviewing the Council’s Carbon Neutral Plan
- Proven experience of preparing scope 1, 2 and 3 operational and borough emissions reporting with compliant governance processes.
- Proven experience in the formulation, development, and delivery of sustainability strategies and programmes.
- Excellent communication skills presenting complex technical information clearly and convincingly.
- Experience of contract management.
- Track record of securing sustainability funding.
- Knowledge and understanding of working in a Local Authority setting.
