This is an exciting Volunteering Opportunity for car owners to transport patients to outpatient appointments/therapy groups and other hospital appointments. It is essential for drivers to have their own car which must have a current MOT, Tax and Insurance cover. A clean driving licence a caring and sympathetic nature are essential. Mileage expenses will be paid. Applicants must live within a 5 mile radius.
The Voluntary Service Department is part of the Trust and is situated in the Memorial Hospital and covers our elderly mental health patients and part of the adult mental health services in Greenwich, Bexley & Bromley. Volunteers are valued members of the Trust and make a difference in many areas by supporting patients in various ways. An opportunity has arisen for a Volunteer in the above post.
Due to the nature of the role. you must be a car owner and be prepared use it to transport patients of the Trust to various appointment and therapy groups.
