Civil Structural Designer

Hiring well organised and self-motivated Civil Structural Designers, ideally Teesside based, willing to travel to client sites across multiple projects, with remote working opportunities. Both temporary and permanent full-time roles available.

You will be responsible for managing CAD design across a team of civil and structural designers ensuring consistent and timely deliverables in line with specifications, and quality standards.

You will oversee preparation, production and checking of GAs, detailed drawing and reinforcement bar bending schedules and material take offs in line with project procedures and programmes.

Additionally, you will attend site meetings and complete surveys whilst liaising with engineers and senior designers to address and resolve CAD related software problems and maximise effective working.

Assisting the Principal Engineer you will prepare project control reports, coordinate work and design estimates and tenders for new projects.

**You will be**:

- HNC educated (or equivalent)
- Self-motivated significant career experience in civil and structural design/PDMS
- Proficient in draughting practice, including CAD and preferably PDMS (although not essential) with a background in heavy industrial, Oil and gas and chemical industry
- Excellent technical communication and coordination skills
- Full UK driving license
