Logistics Support Officer

The Supervisor Assistant will play an important role in a number of vital day-to-day functions within the Operations Department. This role will work closely with other operational teams (e.g. Warehouse, Clinical and Customer Services) to support the smooth running of the service.
Whether providing administrative support within the Logistics Team (e.g. preparing documents using word processing, analysing data and creating reports), serving as the first point of contact for Drivers and Field Service Engineers, or acting as the liaison between the Logistics team and clients throughout the equipment provision process, the Logistics Support Officer role is essential in making sure the jobs are completed.
This is an exciting and varied role and would suit someone who can effectively think on their feet and prioritise a variety of daily workflow tasks for themselves and the logistics team, with the capability of determining the appropriate course of action independently.
This opportunity would suit a flexible, energetic and highly motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced and varied environment.
The successful applicant will also need to demonstrate:
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Good written communication skills, with ability to provide clear and unambiguous advice on care issues and not use jargon.
- Ability to carry out administrative tasks.
- Collaborative team working skills, with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Past experience working within Customer Service, Administrative or Logistics Operations
- Good working knowledge of data inputting and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Past experience with working on client or stock database systems
- Ability to manually handle and install community equipment in various home environments when required
- Holder of a Full UK driving licence with the ability to drive a company van and to pass the company driving test
- We are looking for 1 x Full Time member (36 hours)
