Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Transport Controller for a well established Heathrow based Courier Company. The company is based in the Heathrow area. The role will be working Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm.

**Job Description**:
**The Transport Controller is responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation. This includes managing drivers, expenditure, organising schedules & routes, ensuring thatvehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.** Duties and Responsibilities**
- Control driver for Delivery and Collection expectations.
- Process any PCNs/appeals/payments/driver payment agreements and ensure groups pay any PCNs and maintain recorded evidence.
- Prepare reports on performance and distribute to management every month.
- To monitor services and report any issues accordingly.
- Monitor and ensure up to date records are kept in respect drivers of Company vehicles Liaise with transport providers to ensure quality of service is maintained and to address any issues/complaints.
- Keep vehicle records and maintenance records up to date.
- Liaise with outside agencies in relation to drivers/records/regulations as and when required.
- Ensure drivers are in correct uniform and identifiable with relevant passes.

**Qualifications/Skills**

Excellent knowledge of London

Excellent communication skills, together with a professional and helpful attitude

Possess strong computer skills and experience in using Microsoft Office.

An understanding of office administration systems and the ability to work accurately to these systems.

An experienced team worker and can work unsupervised on own initiative at times.

Ability to manage own workload and time daily to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Experience of scheduling.

Experienced in dealing with the public, ideally through a customer relations role or another similar customer focused position.

Strong organizational skills to demonstrate planning your time and your workload effectively, with an ability to meet deadlines.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm
