**Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.15 am to 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am to 12.00noon**

**Some overtime is occasionally required.**

Due to continued expansion, we are now looking for a **Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer** to join our talented team.

**About the Maintenance Engineer Role**:
The range of work is varied, and no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:

- Electrical fault/ electronic fault-finding including PLC work.
- Where specialists are required - contacting the appropriate specialist functions as and when required (both for machinery and equipment and domestic services, eg plumbing).
- Sourcing and ordering parts for maintenance projects as required.
- Ensuring the management and maintenance of process and domestic water (this will involve compliance training if not already done so).
- Organising other legislative inspections to comply with LOLER / PUWER / Racking / etc and circulating resulting actions.
- Installation of Machinery and Plant, including undertaking or arranging or Fixed Wiring installation work / arranging inspections of fixed wiring installations.
- Ensuring compliance to all aspects of the company health and safety policy with specific regard to the management of contractors.
- Involvement in the risk assessment of plant / equipment / tasks.

**Supervisory responsibilities**:1 x Maintenance Fitter and 1 x Utility person/Fitters mate.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Time served Maintenance Engineer NVQ Level 3 level qualification is **essential** plus ideally HNC / HND level Electrical Qualifications.
- Electrical 17th Edition IEE qualifications or above is **essential**.
- The Aptitude to Develop into a leadership / management role.
- Already holds or willing to undertake IOSH / NEBOSHH Health and Safety certificate or similar.
- Already undertaken or willing to undertake FLT driving certificate and IPAF Mewp certificate.
- Ability to work unsupervised and under own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines for repairs or new machinery installation.

**Experience**:

- Broad experience within a manufacturing / Engineering Maintenance environment.
- Experience of PLC fault finding (Preferably Allen Bradley).
- Some supervisory experience or willingness to undertake development in team management.
- Conversant with Hydraulics/ Pneumatics or willing to undertake training.
- Proven record of electrical and electronic fault finding and electric and mechanical repair skills.
- Experience in sourcing and ordering materials, budgetary control and stock rotation.
- Intermediate Computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel / MRP / ERP system preferred, and strong PPM system or database use essential.
