Our Service provides evidence based psychological interventions using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other NHS Talking Therapies approved modalities. This means you will be working within NICE guidelines. We deliver treatment over the telephone, in groups via online webinars, face to face, and using computerised therapy options as part of a stepped care model. At Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, we are supportive of the people we care for in the community and aim to provide a fully responsive service to everyone who needs it.
This is the same approach we take for our employees. We look to value the skills and experiences of those we work with, whether they are service users, carers, families or those looking to work with us. We provide extensive opportunities for continuous professional development, ensuring practitioners keep skills and knowledge up to date to adhere to best practice. Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is part of the NHS, treating NHS patients according to NHS principles and standards.
The Trust is accountable to local people, rather than to Government, and so we can work closely with our community to develop services in the way that best suits the needs of local people. Our 2023 Staff Survey results showed people at our Trust feel they work for a compassionate and inclusive organisation. We have remained above sector average in 8 out of 9 areas including staff engagement and morale. Staff reported feeling recognised and rewarded at work and feel valued by their team. Gloucestershire Talking Therapies is made up of 4 clinical teams situated across the county of Gloucestershire.
We employ over 100 therapists and are passionate about improving access to psychological therapies. We pride ourselves on our clinical model that focuses on delivering high quality care that consistently exceeds the national recovery standard. Each clinical team includes a Clinical Lead, Team manager, Psychological Therapists, Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners. We also train significant numbers of trainee therapists. We are offering a webinar on Wednesday 9th October 2024 at 12pm.
