Job Title: School and Community Liaison Officer
**Salary**: Up to £24,729 pa
Hours Per Week: 37
We are actively searching for a School and Community Liaison Officer to join us to work with schools and the community to promote an understanding of the opportunities available post 16 at Wirral Met College.

**About the Job**
Main responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with schools and community organisations including the delivery of the Information, Advice and Guidance Service to support student recruitment and progression.
- Developing and delivering an effective programme of schools and community liaison activities and events that promote Wirral Met courses and recruit students onto our career pathways such as such as Open Days and Taster Days
- Delivering talks, presentations & workshops at careers fairs/to schools and actively promoting this.
- Supporting schools and community groups with other student engagement activities.
**About You**
- Experience of sales, recruitment and meeting targets
- Good knowledge of career pathways for 16 - 18year olds and 19+ adults
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Kind, caring and supportive towards young people
The role will cover all of the Wirral, but some travel to other areas will also be expected. Travel expenses are fully covered, but you will need access to your own vehicle.
