We are looking to recruit experienced Healthcare Assistants to build a strong team of passionate care staff, who are able to promote person centred approaches and provide meaningful occupation to deliver high standards of quality care and emotional support.

Karenza is a small nursing home, supporting adults 65+ to live a life with enjoyment and fulliment. We believe everyone has the right to grow old gracefully with dignity and respect. **Job Purpose**:

- The role of the Health Care Assistant is helping our residents to live full, happy and healthy lives, by delivering person centred care, meaningful activities, support and companionship; helping residents to enjoy each day by making sure they receive the quality care, support and opportunities for fulfilment that they deserve.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in health and social care is essential
- Kind, caring and compassionate in nature
- Enthusiastic and committed to making a positive contribution to the people who we care for.
- Highly motivated and driven to achieve high standards
- Ability to communicate and interact well with residents and others
- Experience in health and social care
- Care Certificate or NVQ level 2 or above in Health and Social Care - Willingness to work towards

**Shift Patterns**:

- 07:00-13:00
- 13:00-19:00
- 07:00-19:00

**Pay Scale**:

- £13.50 per hour
- £27.00 per hour on Bank Holidays - Double time
